Privacy policy — Results for LinkedIn Games

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Results for LinkedIn Games is a browser extension that shows where you placed among your connections on each LinkedIn game's leaderboard. This page describes exactly what it reads, where that goes, and what it keeps.

The short version

Nothing leaves your browser. The extension has no server, sends no data to its author or to anyone else, and contains no analytics, tracking, advertising or third-party code.

What it reads

When you press Refresh (or ↻ on one game), the extension opens each game's connections leaderboard on www.linkedin.com — the same page you would open yourself — and reads from it:

• your placing, time or score, and the chips LinkedIn shows on your row (for example “No hints!”);
• the same for the other rows on that leaderboard: each connection's displayed name, placing, time or score, and chips;
• the address of the LinkedIn data request the leaderboard page makes, so the next read can find the board faster.

If you switch Screenshots on, it also takes a picture of each leaderboard as it appears on screen. That needs the optional permission to read page pixels, which is asked for only when you switch the feature on.

It reads LinkedIn pages only when you ask it to, and only the games' leaderboard pages.

Where it is kept

Everything above is stored only in your browser, in the extension's own local storage (chrome.storage.local). It is not synced to your account and not copied anywhere else. Only today's and yesterday's boards are kept; older ones are replaced as the days roll over.

Removing it

Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored. You can also clear it at any time from your browser's extension settings.

Sharing

None. No data is sold, shared, transferred or used for any purpose other than showing you the results in the extension's own popup and full-board page.

Not affiliated

This extension is an independent project. It is not made, endorsed or supported by LinkedIn Corporation. “LinkedIn” is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation.
