One taskbar button for several apps, including the ones already running, however you started them.
PerchBar groups Windows taskbar buttons. You define a group, and PerchBar gives it an icon and a shortcut you pin to the taskbar. Clicking the pin opens the group: every member listed, running or not, with the right action for each. It switches to what is open and launches what is not.
The part nothing else does is the next one. Any member you start some other way, from the Start menu, the desktop or another application, is pulled into the group's button automatically. Launchers can start apps into a group, but an app you started yourself keeps its own button and the group's pin sits empty. PerchBar writes the group's identity onto the window itself, so the shell does the merging: it applies instantly, with no flicker, and survives an Explorer restart.
